Legal Obligations

1.您本次免签入境后可在海南停留30天，入境人停留期间不得逾期滞留海南或未经批准前往中国境内其他地区。须知如有正当理由需要延长在海南停留期限或前往中国境内其它地区，请查须向海南公安机关出入境管理部门申办签证证件（具体要求附后）。海南

You are permitted to stay in Hainan for up to 30 days after your visa-free entry. You shall not overstay or travel to other areas of Chinese Mainland without permission during the stay. If you need to extend your stay in Hainan or travel to other areas of Chinese Mainland with valid reasons,免签 you shall apply for a visa to the exit-entry administration authorities of Hainan’s public security organs (specific requirements are attached).

2.您应当办理住宿登记。在海南省内旅馆住宿，入境人应向入住旅馆提供护照办理住宿登记；在旅馆以外的须知其他住所住宿，应当在入住后24小时内由本人或者留宿人向居住地公安机关办理住宿登记。请查

You shall go through accommodation registration formalities. If you stay in hotels in Hainan, you need to provide your passport to the hotel for registration. And if you stay outside of a hotel, you or your host shall register to the public security organ of your place of residence within 24 hours after your entry into Hainan.

延期停留或前往内地

Extension of Stay or Travel to other areas of Chinese Mainland

如果您想延长在海南停留期限或前往中国境内其他地区，须向公安机关出入境管理部门申请签证证件。经审核通过，公安机关出入境管理部门可为您签发相应期限的停留证件。您可以凭公安机关出入境管理部门为您签发的停留证件继续在海南停留或前往中国境内其他地区。申请办理停留证件需要提供的材料如下：

If you need to extend your stay in Hainan or travel to other areas of Chinese Mainland for valid reasons, you shall apply for a stay visa to the exit and entry administration authority of Hainan’s public security organ. Upon examination and approval, the exit-entry administration authority may issue a corresponding stay permit for you. You may continue to stay in Hainan or travel to other areas of Chinese Mainland with the stay visa issued. The supporting materials required for stay visa application are as follows:

一、申请事由及材料

Application Reasons and Supporting Materials Required

1.进行交流、访问、考察等活动：应当提交邀请、接待单位出具的证明函件等材料。

For activities like exchanges, visits, study tours or other relevant activities, you shall submit supporting materials including a letter of certification issued by the inviting or receiving entity.

2.旅游：应当提交旅行计划行程安排等材料，团体旅游还应当提交旅行社证明函件等材料。

For travel, you shall submit supporting materials including a travel itinerary. If you travel with a tour group, you shall also submit a letter of certification from the hosting travel agency for the group tour.

3.进行商业贸易活动：应当提交邀请单位出具的证明函件等材料。

For commercial trade activities, you shall submit supporting materials including a letter of certification issued by the inviting entity.

4.探望居住在中国境内的中国亲属或具有中国永久居留资格的外国亲属：应当提交被探望人出具的函件、身份证明、家庭成员关系证明等材料。

For visiting Chinese relatives residing in China or foreign relatives holding certificate of permanent residence, you shall submit supporting materials including the letter, the identity certificate and proof of family member relationship provided by the person being visited.

5.国家需要的外国高层次人才和急需紧缺专门人才：应当提交人才主管部门出具的高层次人才证明以及邀请、接待单位证明函件等材料。

For stay as a high-level foreign talent or an urgently needed specialist required by the State, you shall submit supporting materials including certification materials that meet the conditions and requirements for the introduction of high-level foreign talents or urgently needed specialists as determined by the competent departments of the Chinese government, as well as certification letters issued by the inviting and receiving organizations.

6.探望因工作、学习等事由在中国境内停留居留外国亲属，或其他私人事务事由：探亲人员应当提交被探望人出具的函件、外国人居留证件和家庭成员关系证明等材料。其他人员应当提交处理私人事务或者具有人道原因的相关证明等材料。

For visiting family members of foreigners staying or residing in China for work, study or other purposes, as well as staying in China for other personal matters, for visiting you shall submit supporting materials including the letter, foreigner"s residence permit and proof of family member relationship provided by the person being visited, for other personal matters you shall submit relevant certifying materials for humanitarian reasons.

二、申请机构

Authorities to Apply

如果您停留地为海口、三亚、儋州、洋浦、文昌、琼海、澄迈，您可以向当地公安机关出入境管理部门申请；如果您的停留地为其他市县，您可以向海南省政务服务中心公安出入境窗口申请。

If you are staying in Haikou, Sanya, Danzhou, Yangpu, Wenchang, Qionghai or Chengmai, you can apply to the exit and entry administration authority of the local public security organ. And if you are staying in other places of Hainan, you can go to the Exit-Entry Service Window at Hainan Government Affairs Service Center for application.

3月15日零时起，恢复海南入境免签政策

3月14日8时许，外交部领事司发布通告称，为进一步便利中外人员往来，决定自北京时间2023年3月15日零时起，就外国人来华签证及入境政策作如下调整：

恢复2020年3月28日前签发且仍在有效期内的签证入境功能。

驻外签证机关恢复审发外国人各类赴华签证。

口岸签证机关恢复审发符合法定事由的各类口岸签证。

恢复海南入境免签、上海邮轮免签、港澳地区外国人组团入境广东免签、东盟旅游团入境广西桂林免签政策。（王燕珍）
