On September 28, Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shenyang Municipality and Shenyang People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries held the Shenyang-Karachi Sister Cities Disaster Relief Materials Donation Ceremony at Panpan Foods Co., Ltd.
捐赠仪式上，市红十字会、灾物资捐赠仪盼盼食品有限公司向辽宁省对外友好协会交接了捐赠物资，举行包括市红十字会捐赠的沈阳市救式沈价值40万元的帐篷和盼盼食品有限公司捐赠的价值30余万元的食品。这些援助物资将通过巴基斯坦驻华大使馆运至卡拉奇市。卡拉
At the donation ceremony, Shenyang Red Cross Society and Panpan Foods handed over the donated materials to the Liaoning Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, including RMB 400,000 tents donated by Shenyang Red Cross Society and RMB 300,000 food donated by Panpan Foods. The aid will be transported to Karachi through the Pakistani Embassy in China.
近期，巴基斯坦全国各地发生严重洪涝灾害，好城造成重大人员伤亡和财产损失。灾物资捐赠仪作为卡拉奇的友好城市，沈阳市第一时间做出反应，沈阳市救式沈竭尽所能提供帮助，卡拉并得到了沈阳公益组织、爱心企业和社会各界的积极响应。
Recently, severe floods occurred all over Pakistan, causing heavy casualties and property losses. As a sister city of Karachi, Shenyang responded immediately and tried its best to offer help, which received positive responses from public welfare organizations, caring enterprises and all sectors of society in Shenyang.
截至目前，共募集到包括食品和帐篷在内价值70余万元的援助物资。这批物资将在市政府外办和市对外友协的组织下运到卡拉奇市。
So far, more than RMB 700,000 aid including food and tents has been raised. This batch of materials will be transported to Karachi under the organization of Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shenyang Municipality and Shenyang People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
市对外友协相关负责人表示，在卡拉奇遭遇重大灾害之时，沈阳人民伸出援手，同卡拉奇人民站在一起，同担风雨，共渡难关，以实际行动诠释了“患难见真情”的友城情谊。
The relevant person in charge of the Shenyang People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries said that when Karachi suffered a major disaster, people of Shenyang gave a help hand, stood with the people of Karachi and shared the same trials and hardships to overcome difficulties, which interpreted the friendship between sister cities of "true love in adversity" with practical actions.
